Three- and four-dimensional (3D/4D) ultrasound have revolutionized the ability to acquire and process images, especially in the arena of Computer Aided Diagnosis and image recognition. Many major ultrasound manufacturers have developed their own software and image recognition has boomed in fetal ultrasonography with a facility to study virtually every plane and fetal organ.
A practice proven master class in 3D/ 4D OBGYN Ultrasound has been organized by Mediscan Education Department in collaboration with GE Health care on 22/May/2022, at Dr.Hemant L Shah Library, Mediscan Systems, Chennai. Totally 23 delegates from the state were benefitted.
The programme composed of lectures that provide an overview of ultrasound phantom quality assurance, its advantages and limitations and phantom based live demo of techniques, working with volumes of OBGYN data through GE’s 4D software.
Dr.S. Suresh, Dr.Indrani Suresh, and Dr.S. Sudarshan were the principalinstructors for this programme, and the Mediscan Research Coordinator team explained 3D/ 4D methodologies to the delegates to renew and update their understanding of 3d/4D ultrasound. With this kind of machine learning programs deep learning of ultrasound image recognition is possible and mediscan is happy to have organised this class.
