The Third Asia Pacific Conference in Fetal Therapy “APCFT 2017” with the theme “Fetal Therapy - Current Protocol and Concepts” was held between 31st March and 01st April, 2017. The event was held in collaboration with the Chinese University of Hong Kong. First day Workshop was held at Mediscan and the remaining two days of the Conference at Hotel Radison Blu Beach Resort, Mamallapuram.
Twelve International and 11 national speakers participated and shared the latest in cutting-edge basic, translational and clinical investigations in fetal therapies, and around 151 delegates attended the conference. First day workshop comprised of investigations about single, twin and multiple pregnancies with circulatory conditions that lead to fetal demise and potential laser interventions that save unborn babies from going to such conditions. The goal of the symposium is to promote creative collaborations with fetal medicine specialists across the country who are interested in making an impact on the lives of unborn babies and their expectant mothers with good pregnancy outcomes.
The conference was collectively sponsored by nine ultrasound manufacturing companies who displayed their machines in the venue.
