• Graduating from Madras Medical College, Chennai, had her private clinical practice for a decade and then joined Mediscan as a Consultant.
• With her spatial ability and accelerated teaching skills has become one of a distinguished instructor in Mediscan education department .
• She is also a faculty of ultrasound in Dr.MGR Medical University and Annamalai University
• She holds the office of treasurer in Indian Society of Clinical Sonologists (ISOCS)
• She has trained many Medical Officers in rural areas as part of NRHM Project for Tamil Nadu
• Has Conducted many ultrasound Workshops in Gynaecology, Obstetrics, Neonatal hip and Vascular Doppler.
